General Information
 

STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARD
A student needs to purchase an idenitification card in order to have access to library and to all school activities. An identification card may be purchase at the cost of $1.00 until Mid-first Quarter and after that will cost $3.00 each.

ACCIDENTS
Students are require to report all injuries on school property.

CAR KEYS
A student who drives his or her car to school must turn in his or her key to the office as soon as he or she gets to school. Keys must not be picked up until 4:00 PM. students are not allowed to go to their cars during school hours.

USE OF FACILITIES
Any use of school facilities for practices and/or activities must be approbed fy the administration. The "Activities Registration sheet" must be completed and approved before and activities is done. In this way,conflicts can be avoided and we can have knowledge of how and when the building is being used.No school activity may be conduct outside the school without the permission of the administration.

VISITORS
All students are asked to be helpful to visitors. All outsiders should be directed to the school office. Friends of students should not visit during school hour.

TELEPHONES
No students will be called to the telephone during the school day. Telephone calls or other messages are NOT DELIVERED to students EXCEPT in cases of EXTREME EMERGENCY. The principal is responsible for deciding whether a call is an emergency and merits immediate response.

REGULAR DAILY SCHEDULE
The school day begins with the first bell at 7:50 AM, which indicates the start of homeroom organizations period. This period consists of morning prayers, a flag ceremony, attendance check, announcements and other student preparations and assemblies when announced.

COURTESY
Courtesy at all times to his or her teachers and felllow students should be the mark of each students at Saramen Chuuk Academy. Common courtesies as listed below are expected of every students. - If a class is in session a student should knock and enter quickly. -Students should report to the teacher before giving a message to a student during class. -During prayer, students should assume a proper posture and a respectful attitude. -During announcements, students should listen carefully,quietly, and attentively.They should make notations of announcements that concern them particularly. -Each student should respect others' property. He or She should not use another student's book, look into his or her bag, and go into another person's locker, the teacher's desk or cupboard without specific permission from the proper owner. -Students should be attentive and respectful to all speakers and assemblies. -Students should respect school property and follow instructions in the use of school equipment.

RADIOS, CASSETTES PLAYERS, ETC.
Students are not permitted to bring radios, cassette player, or other such devices to school unless prior permission has been secured from the Principal or Vice Principal. If permission is granted, such applicanses must be keep in the office until it is time to use them.

LIBRARY
Books may be taken out after checking them with the Librarian. This is a fine for overdue books. The Librarian may dismiss students from the library for misconduct or disturbance. No visiting or talking is permitted in the library.

LOST AND FOUND
Students who find lost articles are asked to bring them to the office.Lost articles that are not claimed within a reasonable will be given away.

INSPECTION OF PERSONAL PROPERTY
The administration and authorized persons may require a student to empty their purse, pockets, or locker at any time, if the authorized person suspects that the student may be in possessionof drugs or alcohol,or property not rightfully in his or her possession.
